About Ivan
Ivan Benevich began his mortgage career in 1999, navigating the challenges of the subprime market before stepping away from the industry for a time. He returned in 2014 and has since built a decade of expertise in lending.
A native of The Heights in Houston, Texas, Ivan attended Northwest Academy and later earned a Bachelor of Education in Music from the University of Houston. With a passion for music, he taught wind, brass, and string instruments and performed as a trumpeter, guitarist, and vocalist. He also wrote, recorded, and self-produced music while playing in the Houston rock scene.
Beyond his mortgage career, Ivan enjoys travel, art, literature, movies, cooking, and spending time with his wife, Angela, and their children in Spring, Texas. He finds fulfillment in helping others—whether through mortgage lending, music, or simply making a positive impact in the lives around him.

She told me, “he would want me to still get this home for our family.” It was very challenging, because I had previously qualified on her spouse. After much concerted effort and planning, we were able to overcome the obstacles, and bring this sweet woman to the finish line, and into her first home. It was a homebuying experience that I will never forget.
